Stewards noted following the event the muzzle of Dundee Spectre was wedged in its teeth and the greyhound was vetted as a result, no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Weeks the trainer of Max Cobra regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight and in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Max Cobra was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Weeks pleaded not guilty to the charge, Max Cobra was found guilty and suspended for 12 months at all tracks and must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(c) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Party Mix was slow to begin.  Cloncurry Girl was checked off Full Tilt approaching the first turn.  Full Tilt was checked off Henessey Venom on the first turn.  Cloncurry Girl was checked off Inter Santina on the first turn severely checking Cloncurry Girl.  Party Mix and Full Tilt collided in the home straight.  Lights Of Tanjil and Kranskey collided approaching the winning post.

Ms. M. Mayle failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Sabakat for racing.  Stewards issued Ms. Mayle with a warning.
