Steward's Report
Whynot Gazza and Galloping Eddie collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Marlan Girl and Burning Mountain collided approaching the first turn. Marlan Girl was checked off Burning Mountain on the first turn. Burning Mountain and Jerusalem Creek collided on the first turn checking Jerusalem Creek and severely checking Aston Verve and Testa Girl, Testa Girl fell as a result.
Testa Girl underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right shoulder muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Aston Verve underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left chest muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Due to the state of the track and the persistant heavy rain the race meeting was abandoned at 8.00pm.
