Steward's Report
Lightning Parade was a late scratching at 6.38pm on the advice of the on track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to diarrhoea and dehydration. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Dynamic Ross was slow to begin. Inter Joe, Dynamic Ross, Wild Angel and Alfie's Affair collided approaching the first turn checking Dynamic Ross and Wild Angel. Dynamic Ross was checked off Wild Angel approaching the home turn. Alfie's Affair raced wide on the home turn. Inter Joe was checked off Aston Samson entering the home straight. Inter Joe and Aston Samson collided entering the home straight. Aston Samson tired over the concluding stages of the event.
Aston Samson underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. McMillan the trainer of Aston Samson and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's performance over the concluding stages of the event.
