Cosmic Vigilante was slow to begin. Another Spence and Miss Monster collided soon after the start. Grab That Earn and Another Spence collided approaching the first turn. Cosmic Vigilante and Loves Me Not collided on the first turn. Another Spence was checked off Grab That Earn on the first turn. Campbell Rose was checked off Another Spence on the home turn. Another Spence raced wide on the home turn. Cosmic Vigilante and Loves Me Not collided in the home straight.
Another Spence underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported. Representative Mrs. A. Ashworth declined her option to have the greyhound re-vetted.
