Steward's Report
Totally Bullish was a late scratching at 6.26pm on the advice of the on track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a laceration and bruising on both hind legs.. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Zipping Caesar and Vienna Gypsy were quick to begin. Vienna Gypsy faltered soon after the start and subsequently tailed off. Midnight Tess, Zipping Benny, Aston Asahi and Rum Dum collided on the first turn checking Midnight Tess, Aston Asahi and Rum Dum. Midnight Tess and Aston Asahi collided on the home turn. Vienna Gypsy raced wide in the home straight. Zipping Caesar cramped approaching the winning post and fell crossing the finishing line.
Vienna Gypsy underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right back muscle and right triangle muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Zipping Caesar underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (cramp) Zipping Caesar must perform a satisfactory trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
