Steward's Report
Go Didda Go was slow to begin.
Go Didda Go galloped on Potere approaching the first turn. Temujin and Lilty Allen collided on the first turn checking Temujin. Go Didda Go raced wide entering the home straight. Vis Vitae eased approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Mr R. Edwards, the trainer of the greyhound Vis Vitae regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Vis Vitae was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left wrist sprain, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Vis Vitae with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Edwards pleaded guilty to the charge, Vis Vitae was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Fifty Dollar - winner of the event.
