Steward's Report
Once A Secret and Lagatha were slow to begin.
Emma Lakers crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Once A Secret. Brindle Delight, Azure Herrera, Black Dash Three and Emma Lakers collided on the first turn checking Azure Herrera. Azure Herrera and Once A Secret collided on the first turn. Once A Secret eased on the first turn and subsequently pulled up. Brindle Delight, Black Dash Three and Lagatha collided on the first turn checking Lagtha.
Stewards spoke to Mr J. Musselwhite, the representative of the greyhound Once A Secret regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Once A Secret was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Once A Secret with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Musselwhite pleaded guilty to the charge, Once A Secret was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
