Stewards spoke to Mr M. Johnson, the trainer of Lektra Miss regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lektra Miss last raced on 4 July 2018 and is returning from a seasonal spell.
Dr. Watson and Dr. Bodacious were slow to begin. My Names Rhonda, Lucky Omar, Dane Daisy collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Lucky Omar. Lucky Omar checked off Dr. Watson on the first turn. Dane Daisy and Dr. Bodacious collided on the first turn. Philo Bale and Dr. Bodacious collided approaching the home turn. Philo Bale checked off Dr. Bodacious on the home turn. My names Rhonda and Dane Daisy collided on the home turn. Lucky Omar raced wide in the home straight.
