Steward's Report
Red Queen was quick to begin. Alonso Power was slow to begin.
Alonso Power and Turfman collided soon after the start. Dr. Dedra, Alonso Power and Turfman collided approaching the first turn checking Alonso Power. Turfman lost considerable ground on the first turn. Scrumble and Courage Crest collided on the first turn. Alonso Power checked off Delta's Magic approaching the home turn. Dr. Dedra raced wide in the home straight. Alonso Power tired over the concluding stages.
Turfman was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr M. Carr the trainer of the greyhound Turfman. Stewards deemed the performance of Turfman unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Turfman must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Premier Jess - winner of the event.
