Steward's Report
Kynan's Revenge was quick to begin. Krisbar Wee Wow, Miss Cotton Sox, Kraken Rose and Winlock Barbara were slow to begin. Kynan's Revenge and Winlock Barabara collided approaching the first turn checking Kynan's Revenge. Krisbar Wee Wow, Miss Cotton Sox and San Remo Lass collided approaching the first turn. Rocky Road and All Inn Swift collided on the first turn. All Inn Swift, Krisbar Wee Wow, Miss Cotton Sox and San Remo Lass collided on the first turn checking Miss Cotton Sox, San Remo Lass and Krisbar Wee Wow. Kraken Rose marred the running of Winlock Barbara approaching the winning post.
All Inn Swift was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hind leg. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.
Kraken Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr K. Eyles, the representative of the greyhound Kraken Rose, regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Kraken Rose with marring. Mr Eyles pleaded guilty to the charge, Kraken Rose was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Meeting Comments:
Satisfactory Trial Results - George Regis trialled over the 425mts from box 1, weight 35.2kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.05, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.75L. George Regis was not cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Gibson, the trainer of Raweenie regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Raweenie last raced on 3rd March 2017. Mr. Gibson stated that the greyhound was returning from a left wrist injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Raweenie trialled over the 425mts from box 4, weight 30.1kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.05, the greyhound won by a margin of 4.25L. Raweenie was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers Off) -Nareen trialled over the 425mts from box 8, weight 30.4kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.05, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.25L. Nareen was cleared to race with blinkers off.
