Manila Sprite and Awesome Cruising were slow to begin. Awesome Cruising and Fawn Secrets collided soon after the start checking Awesome Cruising. County Carlow and Krisbar Blue Fox collided soon after the start checking Krisbar Blue Fox. Surf A Lot, Hardaway Zoe and Pyranees Zoe collided approaching the first turn checking Surf A Lot which collided with Krisbar Blue Fox. Krisbar Blue Fox and Manila Sprite collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Awesome Cruising, Krisbar Blue Fox and Manila Sprite collided approaching the home turn checking Krisbar Blue Fox and Manila Sprite and severely checking Awesome Cruising. Hardaway Zoe and Pyranees Blaze collided approaching the home turn and on the home turn. Surf A Lot and Pyranees Blaze entering the home straight.
Awesome Cruising was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right hind metatarsal and right eye region. No stand down period was imposed.
