Steward's Report

Old Bailey went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Belron Gus and Memphis Victorem were slow to begin. Bryden Dora, Chum's Special and Memphis Victorem collided soon after the start, checking Chum's Special and Memphis Victorem. Bryden Dora, Scott Fortitude and Belron Gus collided approaching the first turn, checking Scott Fortitude. Bryden Dora and All Inn Ready collided on the first turn, checking All Inn Ready. Old Bailey checked off Scott Fortitude on the first turn. Chum's Special and Memphis Victorem collided on the first turn. All Inn Ready and Old Bailey collided approaching the home turn. All Inn Ready galloped on the heels of Old Bailey on the home turn. Bryden Dora checked off Old Bailey entering the home straight. Scott Fortitude and Chum's Special raced wide in the home straight. 

Memphis Victorem was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions and lacerations to the left hock, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

A sample was taken from Belron Gus - the winner of the event. 

Stewards spoke to Miss. N. Gray the handler of Memphis Victorem, regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound and reminded her of her responsibilities.
