Steward's Report
Gassed Up Devil was slow to begin. Mum's Gem and Stroma collided soon after the start. Retro Flyer crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Stroma and Mum's Gem. Lord Kitchener checked off Retro Flyer approaching the second turn. Stroma faltered approaching the second turn and tailed off. Mum's Gem and Gassed Up Devil collided in the back straight. Gassed Up Devil checked off Mum's Gem approaching the third turn. Gassed Up Devil and Big Bold Boomer collided on the third turn, checking Big Bold Boomer. Big Bold Boomer and Mum's Gem collided approaching the home turn, and again on the home turn. Mum's Gem and Gassed Up Devil collided entering the home straight.
Stroma was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
