Steward's Report
Charli Marley and Sweet Gizmo were quick to begin. Sudoku Nala was slow to begin.
Sweet Gizmo (checked approaching the first turn and lost ground thereafter) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have sand toe on the right hind. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke with Trainer Mr. Kenneth Howat concerning the greyhound's performance in the event and competitiveness in recent starts. Mr. Howat advised Stewards he would nominate Sweet Gizmo to compete over a different course and distance next start. Mr. Howat was advised that Stewards would monitor the greyhound's competitiveness in future events.
