Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Weir-Smith, the trainer of Podium Bound regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Podium Bound last raced on 17th November 2015. Mr. Weir-Smith stated that the greyhound had changed kennels.
Thomeli Roar and New Club Crawf were slow to begin. Artificial, New Club Crawf and Ella Rhode collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Artificial galloped on the heels of Splish Splashin' approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Thomeli Roar, Splish Splashin', Artificial and Ella Rhode collided approaching the home turn, checking Thomeli Roar, Spilsh Splashin', Artificial, Ella Rhode and New Club Crawf. Artificial and Spilsh Splashin' collided on the home turn.
Ella Rhode was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
