Fawn Pursuit and Lister Bale collided approaching the first turn. Big Ticket and Queen Kaboom collided approaching the first turn. Cette Away galloped on the heels of Queen Kaboom on the first turn, severely checking both greyhounds, Queen Kaboom fell as a result. Wahlberg checked off Big Ticket approaching the winning post.
Queen Kaboom was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist and spike wounds to both hind legs, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
