Steward's Report
Meek – Late scratching at 6.45pm by Order of Stewards - No stand down period was imposed. Meek underwent a veterinary examination and found to have a right eye condition. Acting under the provisions of GAR42(4)(b), Meek must perform a Satisfactory Trial to certify that the greyhound's vision is adequate to allow the greyhound to see the lure. Stewards spoke to Representative - Mr. Chris Stanton in relation to the matter. Mr. Stanton supplied an independent veterinary certificate attesting that there were no obvious abnormalities to Meek's left eye.
Temper Tantrum was quick to begin.
