Track Curator Mr. M. Coventry advised Stewards that the track was medium harrowed on 15th December 2016.
Swift Knockout was slow to begin. Hit 'N' Split crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Dark Chance, Jimmy Flash, You Betcha Jorge and Swift Knockout. Flashing Lights contacted the running rail on the first turn. Jimmy Flash checked off Kraken Ridge on the first turn checking Dark Chance. Flashing Lights and Swift Knockout collided on the first turn checking Flashing Lights, Swift Knockout and You Betcha Jorge. You Dance and Jimmy Flash collided on the home turn. Swift Knockout and Dark Chance collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.
Flashing Lights was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
