Melina's Pick crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Tabouli, severely checking Melina's Pick and Hot Blooded, Gaelic Rose fell as a result. Phil Miwolet and Bald Baron collided on the first turn. Bald Baron eased approaching the home turn checking Phil Miwolet. Hot Blooded checked off Melina's Pick approaching the home turn. Bald Baron marred Quick Blitz in the home straight checking Quick Blitz.. Abit Late and Melina's Pick collided approaching the winning post.

Gaelic Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found, but the greyhound showed symptoms of mild thumps.

Jose the handler of the greyhound Bald Baron.  Acting under GAR 69(1)(b) stewards charged Bald Baron with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 3 months (all tracks) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rebellious Lass was quick to begin. Cool Cornelius was slow to begin. Elswyk Miss crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Cool Cornelius, severely checking Elswyk Miss, Burnsy's Ocker and Maniana. Where's Dalts and Bush Kanga collided on the first turn checking Cool Cornelius. Rebellious Lass raced wide on the home turn.

Elswyk Miss was vetted and after being revetted following event 6, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Fulf's Girl was quick to begin. Teena's Socket, Tub's Glory and Rozehill Sally were slow to begin. Malceski Snap checked off Milla Magic on the first turn checking Tub's Glory, Inki Pinki and Rozehill Sally. Milla Magic eased approaching the home turn checking Fulf's Girl. Fulf's Girl checked off Tub's Glory entering the home straight.

Milla Magic was vetted and revetted following event 6, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to L.Hughes the trainer of the greyhound Milla Magic. Acting under GAR 69(5), the stewards charged Milla Magic with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(6),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Peaceful Dove and Arroneous were quick to begin. Skye, Koochie Koo and Hi Big Boy were slow to begin. Dr. Jane was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Skye galloped on the heels of Black Pedrosi soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Black Pedrosi eased on the first turn and subsequently tailed off. Tub's Inferno and Dr. Jane collided approaching the home turn. Dr. Jane galloped on the heels of Erroneous approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. 

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Skye became dislodged during the running of the event.

Black Pedrosi was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to E.Dowsey the trainer of the greyhound Black Pedrosi. Mr. Dowsey declined to have the greyhound revetted. Acting under GAR 69(1)(b) stewards charged Black Pedrosi with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Warragul and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dylan's Cruiser was a late scratching at 9:29AM due to injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a Veterinary Certificate before any future nomination  will be accepted.

Earratic was slow to begin. Top Drama, True Blue Sam and Doc's Dora collided soon after the start checking Top Drama and Doc's Dora. Fast As Escargot checked off Make Do on the first turn. Earratic checked off Orlando Jay on the first turn. Top Drama and Make Do collided approaching the home turn checking Make Do.

Erica Black was quick to begin. Damaged Goods was slow to begin. Zephyr Zap, Fawn Chow and Canny Catch It collided soon after the start checking Fawn Chow. Napalm Red checked off Zephyr Zap approaching the first turn. Erica Black and Captain Castile collided on the first turn checking Erica Black, Zephyr Zap and Napalm Red, severely checking Captain Castile, Canny Catch It and Coop Jak. Erica Black and Zephyr Zap collided on the home turn. Napalm Red raced wide entering the home straight.  

Kinetic Boost was quick to begin. Da Cartel and Power Switch were slow to begin. Fizadore and Arcadia Gold collided on the first turn checking Fizadore. Kinetic Boost raced wide on the first turn checking All Inn Palmer. All Inn Palmer raced wide in the home straight.

Spotted Cruiser was quick to begin. Diesel Drive and Tekki Tyrant were slow to begin. Shrek's Mystery and Tekky Tyrant collided on the first turn checking Shrek's Mystery and Diesel Drive. Spotted Cruiser and Dirty Bit collided approaching the home turn checking Spotted Cruiser, severely checking Dirty Bit, which stumbled checking Tekky Tyrant. Jamron and Caveat Emptor collided approaching the home turn checking Caveat Emptor. Caveat Emptor and Our Debree raced wide on the home turn.

Tammy's Billie, Buzz Torque, Trying and Australian Flyer collided on the first turn checking Trying and Australian Flyer. Proven Tears crossed to the rail approaching the home turn. Tammy's Billie and Buzz Torque collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Corrine and Proven Tears collided on the home turn. Tammy's Billie galloped on the heels of Buzz Torque on the home turn severely checking Tammy's Billie, Buzz Torque, Trying and Australian Flyer, all four greyhounds stumbled as a result.
