An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Rock Away engaged in this event on 6th October 2016, pursuant to GAR 79A.
Pechey, Henry and Argyle Lucifer were quick to begin. Henry, Alezan, Rock Away and Militant Man collided on the first turn checking Alezan, Rock Away and Militant Man. Johnny's Return checked off Pechey on the first turn checking Henry. Alezan and Rock Away collided entering the back straight checking both greyhounds. Johnny's Return and Division Four collided approaching the home turn checking Militant Man. Pechey checked off Argyle Lucifer on the home turn.
Samples were taken from the first two placegetters in this event - Argyle Lucifer (1st) and Pechey (2nd).
