Suffragette was quick to begin.  Victor Dora and Sisco General were slow to begin.  Victor Dora checked off Lulu Lollipop soon after the start and collided with Leon's Wish as a result.  General Remus and Suffragette collided soon after the start.  General Remus and Sisco General collided approaching the first turn.  Victor Dora and General Remus collided on the first turn checking Victor Dora.  Lulu Lollipop and Dyna Yatul collided on the first turn.  Victor Dora checked off Sisco General approaching the second turn.  Leon's Wish and Sisco General collided on the second turn checking Sisco General.  Victor Dora and Sisco General collided entering the back straight.  Lulu Lollipop checked off Dyna Yatul on the third turn checking Dyna Yatul.  General Remus eased approaching the home turn checking Lulu Lollipop and Victor Dora.  Leon's Wish and Victor Dora collided on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Hiscock, the trainer of the greyhound General Remus regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn. General Remus was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to its right hip.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged General Remus with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Hiscock pleaded guilty to the charge.  General Remus was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Peak, the trainer of Hey Shaza Fozz regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Hey Shaza Fozz last raced on 25th May 2016 and is returning to race after a change of trainer/ownership.  Ms. Peak also declared a new weight of 25.0kgs in accordance with GAR 39(2). Hey Shaza Fozz last raced at 26.5kgs.

King Of Diamonds and Flying Mia were slow to begin.  Hey Shaza Fozz and Sisco Rascal collided soon after the start.  King Of Diamonds and Flying Mia collided approaching the first turn.  King Of Diamonds, Hey Shaza Fozz and Flying Mia collided on the first turn.  Blue Skittle checked off Marcus Daking on the first turn.  Sisco Rascal, Blue Skittle and Dyna Alk collided entering the back straight.  Flying Mia and King Of Diamonds collided on the home turn. Loverso, the representative of the greyhound Dyna Alk regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Dyna Alk with marring.  Mr. Loverso pleaded guilty to the charge.  Dyna Alk was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dundee Fury was slow to begin.  Why Not Barrel and Lachlan's Rough collided soon after the start.  Electromagnetic and Sarah Swift collided soon after the start checking Sarah Swift and Black Fields.  Jay Jay Bee and Drysdale Doll collided soon after the start.  Sarah Swift, Jay Jay Bee, Drysdale Doll and Lachlan's Rough collided approaching the first turn checking Drysdale Doll.  Jay Jay Bee and Drysdale Doll collided on the first turn checking Drysdale Doll. Dundee Fury galloped on the heels of Drysdale Doll on the first turn severely checking Dundee Fury; Dundee Fury stumbled and Drysdale Doll fell as a result. Electromagnetic checked off Sarah Swift approaching the second turn checking Electromagnetic and Lachlan's Rough.  Black Fields and Lachlan's Rough collided on the home turn.

Drysdale Doll was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind dislocated toe (2nd toe) and split webbing.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Gobbledegook was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 11, it was reported that the greyhound sustained a right front lost/torn nail and injuries to its left thigh and right triangle muscle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
