Night Theory was quick to begin. Mepunga Laser, Ikaika Warrior and Sooty Epsom were slow to begin. Dewana Dimie and Mepunga Laser collided soon after the start. Dewana Dimie and Ripple Eff Ex collided soon after the start. Banjo King, Ripple Eff Ex and Sooty Epsom collided on the first turn severely checking Ripple Eff Ex. Ikaika Warrior checked off Surf In Vane on the second turn. Mepunga Laser and Sooty Epsom collided on the second turn. Dewana Dimie and Mepunga Laser collided on the home turn.
