Nearly Mignight and Greysynd Rain were quick to begin. Aragorn was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Mr. Macquire checked off Bonnie Whelan on the first turn checking Aragorn. Nearly Midnight and Bonnie Whelan collided on the second turn checking Nearly Midnight and severely checking Aragorn. Mr. Macquire raced wide on the home turn. Bonnie Whelan and Aragorn collided entering the home straight checking Bonnie Whelan.
