Gidgee Estate and Dr. Kalessie were quick to begin. Miss Benbridge and Elle's Hope were slow to begin. Select Joss was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Gidgee Estate and Prince Euphoria collided on the first turn checking Select Joss severely checking Gidgee Estate, Prince Euphoria and Miss Benbridge and causing Elle's Hope to fall. Gidgee Estate faltered approaching the home turn and tailed off. Dr. Kalessie and Why Not Beau collided approaching the home turn.
