Backdoor Bazz, Kydar Storm, Albion Josh and Shantaz Lass collided approaching the first turn checking Backdoor Bazz and Shantaz Lass. Iron Melody and Duff Beer collided on the first turn severely checking Rhubarb Chutney, Shantaz Lass, Kydar Storm and Backdoor Bazz. Backdoor Bazz fell as a result. Rhubarb Chutney and Shantaz Lass collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Booma Tiger raced wide on the home turn.
