A pre race sample was taken from Hurrican Hush. Hard Sell and Southwood Danny were slow to begin. Midnight Swirl, Hot Command and El Bruiser collided soon after the start checking El Bruiser. Midnight Swirl, Hot Command and Stylish Steph collided on the first turn checking Midnight Swirl, Hot Commnad, Southwood Danny and Hard Sell. Hurricane Hush contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Hurricane Hush and Southwood Danny collided several times from approaching the home turn to entering the home straight. Bit Creepy checked off Stylish Steph in the home straight. Stylish Steph raced wide in the home straight. Hurricane Hush was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Midnight Swirl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its lower back muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
