A pre-race swab was taken from Linton's Comet.
Prince Jack and Snapper Whiting were slow out. Ourboy Slatts crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Uno Betty and Killer Bee. Snapper Whiting checked off the heels of Prince Jack approaching the first turn. Killer Bee, Ourboy Slatts and Snapper Whiting collided on the first turn. Ourboy Slatts and Snapper Whiting collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn. Killer Bee and Prince Jack collided on the second turn. Killer Bee and Prince Jack collided approaching the third turn checking Prince Jack. Ourboy Slatts, Prince Jack and Snapper Whiting collided on the third turn checking Prince Jack. Catch That Buzz checked off the heels of Curly Boylan approaching the home turn.
Prince Jack was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
