Steward's Report
Buckley Rose was quick to begin. Kasundi, Larah's Wish and Smurf's Lara were slow to begin. Kyella Magic and Bottles Magic collided on the first turn checking Kyella Magic. Bottles Magic and Another Fave collided on the first turn checking Another Fave. Buckley Rose and Magic Match collided approaching the home turn checking Buckley Rose. Bottles Magic eased approaching the home turn checking Another Fave. Buckley Rose and Bottles Magic collided approaching the home turn. Kasundi raced wide on the home turn. Kyella Magic and Smurf's Lara collided in the home straight. Bottles Magic and Another Fave collided in the home straight.
Bottles Magic was vetted and after being revetted following event 7, it was reported that the greyhound was found to have soreness in the right quadriceps, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Acting under GAR 69(5), the Stewards charged Bottles Magic with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial All Tracks pursuant to GAR 69(6), before any future nomination will be accepted.
