Albarta Prince, Awesome Dawn and Exasperate were slow out. Beretta, Miss Marly and Neely Loveless collided soon after the start checking Miss Marly. Awesome Dawn clipped the heels of Albarta Prince approaching the first turn and brushed the running rail as a result. Miss Marly and Neely Loveless collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Marly. Jumbo Size and Beretta collided approaching the first turn checking Jumbo Size and Miss Marly. Awesome Dawn and Jumbo Size collided on the first turn checking Jumbo Size. Albarta Prince and No Risk collided entering the back straight checking No Risk.
