Lamarra Prince crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Miracle Star, Trendy La Maze and So Content. Miracle Star and Trendy La Maze collided approaching the second turn checking Onya Pete and So Content, causing Snappy Dresser to race wide. Trendy La Maze, Miss Silvy Leigh and Lamarra Prince collided on the third turn. Miracle Star, Onya Pete, So Content and Lamarra Prince collided on the home turn. Snappy Dresser, Miss Silvy Leigh and Lamarra Prince collided in the home straight. Trendy La Maze eased in the home straight. Snappy Dresser was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent with the greyhound. Stewards severely reprimanded Trainer of Snappy Dresser, Mr P. Dickman, for attempting to adjust the rear door of the starting box when he realised that during the lure run-up his greyhound's tail was protruding slightly. Trendy La Maze was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the right shoulder, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under AGRR82.1(d), Stewards charged Trendy La Maze and directed the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, all tracks, before any future nomination.
