Steward's Report
Karooba was vetted before the running of this event. It was reported that the greyhound was passed fit to compete.
Trew Touch was slow out. Ebony Jess crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Karooba, Dezdamona and Shaboo Ripsta, causing Proud Jade to fall. Lansvale Lane and Lochinvar Storm collided on the first turn checking Dezdamona, Shaboo Ripsta, Lochinvar Storm and Trew Touch. Lansvale Lane and Dezdamona collided on the second turn checking Karooba. Lochinvar Storm and Trew Touch collided on the second turn. Lochinvar Storm checked off the heels of Trew Touch entering the back straight. Karooba galloped on the heels of Lochinvar Storm approaching the third turn.
Proud Jade was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent with the greyhound.
