Steward's Report
Big Hand and Jacarrest were slow out. Big Hand, Jacarrest, Mr. Starbuck, Bubba's Girl, Card Night and Mepunga Assassin collided on the first turn checking Rapid Cru and Jacarrest and severely checking Bubba's Girl. Mr. Starbuck, Card Night and Mepunga Assassin collided entering the front straight checking Mr. Starbuck. Big Hand galloped on the heels of Arabica on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Big Hand, Mr. Starbuck, Card Night and Mepunga Assassin collided approaching the third turn checking Big Hand and Mr. Starbuck. Card Night and Arabica collided in the back straight. Big Hand checked off the heels of Mr. Starbuck approaching the fourth turn checking Jacarrest. Arabica checked off the heels of Mepunga Assassin approaching the home turn checking Mr. Starbuck. Mr. Starbuck checked off the heels of Arabica on the home turn. Big Hand and Rapid Cru collided entering the home straight.
Bubba's Girl was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left fore. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Bubba's Girl down from competing for 14 days.
