Steward's Report
Sun Shower and Monochrome were slow out. Doralynn Bale checked off the heels of Evonne Bale approaching the first turn. Girt checked off the heels of Cynthia Bale approaching the home turn.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Peter Riley (representing Trainer - G Dailly) regarding the improved performance of Bertram Bale this evening in comparison to recent starts. Mr. Riley told the Stewards that Bertram Bale tends to perform better at The Meadows. He also advised that Bertram Bale had received checks in running in his previous starts whereas tonight he received a clear run resulting in a quick beginning from the boxes. Mr. Riley further advised that the greyhound had not been supported tonight by the kennel. Stewards noted the explanation of Mr. Riley and directed that a swab sample be taken from Bertram Bale which won the Event.
