Steward's Report
Remo Rio was a late scratching at 10:20am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Sir Sir Hannibal, Johnny Malta and Mustang Jilly collided soon after the start. Milky Joe crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Mustang Jilly, Johnny Malta, Sir Sir Hannibal and Pucker Up. Tow Away crossed to the rail approaching the first turn. Pucker Up faltered on the first turn and tailed off as a result.
Pucker Up was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a dropped muscle in the left thigh and a dislocated right hind toe, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
