Herbert Bale was slow out. Mad Caper went up with the lids at box rise and was slow out as a result. Lektra Gold and Eggy Morris collided soon after the start. Redline Task, Lektra Gold and Eggy Morris collided approaching the first turn checking Eggy Morris. Mad Caper and Redline Task collided on the first turn checking Redline Task. Mad Caper and Eggy Morris collided on the home turn checking Eggy Morris and Lektra Gold. Lektra Gold and Eggy Morris collided in the home straight. Waverley Legend raced wide in the home straight.
Redline Task was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right thigh and right wrist, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
