Steward's Report
Club Seven was a late scratching at 12:28 due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer A Laurie was fined the sum of $100.
Oma's Tulip was a late scratching at 12:30pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer T Matthyssen was fined the sum of $100.
Jay's Spirit and Buloke Vin were slow out. Keenie crossed to the rail approaching the first turn. Shalene, Mikaso Grange and Buloke Vin collided on the first turn severely checking Shalene and Mikaso Grange. Black Hammer and Jay's Spirit collided on the first turn. Jay's Spirit raced wide entering the home straight.
Buloke Vin was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right thigh injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
