Steward's Report
Strategy and Times Change were slow out. Cool Cygnet and El Arandt collided soon after the start. Strategy and Gav's Gift collided at the 250mtr mark checking Gav's Gift.
A sample was taken from Perfect Nina - the winner of the event.
Strategy was vetted following event 5. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to R. Lessuer, Trainer of Strategy regarding the greyhounds seemingly poor performance in this event, which was below market expectations. Mr. Lessuer stated that it was only a young greyhound and he believed that missing the start it was not able to run up to it's previous performance when it jumped well and lead in a time of 16.56. Stewards directed a swab sample be taken from Strategy, which finished in 7th position.
