Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Journey Beyond on 24/10/2023 pursuant to GAR 139.
Millie - Late scratching at 6:17 pm due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr. Donald Jarvis informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr. Donald Jarvis that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
My Magic Man - Late scratching at 6:26 pm due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mrs. Brooke Ennis was fined $100.
Sponge Kisses (raced awkwardly turning into the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right shin. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
