Bun Volcano (escaped from the catching pen), underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to representative Ms Andrea Dailly regarding the greyhound escaping the catching pen. After hearing submissions from Ms Dailly, Stewards issues a warning to Bun Volcano for the greyhounds catching pen manners and informed Ms. Dailly that Bun Volcano's catching pen behavior will be closely monitored for future events.

What We Do (checked on the home turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Zipping Kendrick and Urana Jasmine were quick to begin.

Colour Violet race wide in the home straight.

Goddess Of Chaos (contacted the rail turning of the back straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have lacerations to the left wrist. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Colour Violet (severely checked turning into the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to havean injury to the right quadriceps. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Acacia Rocket (raced ungenerously turning off the back straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination–no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Myles Delbridge regarding the racing manners of Acacia Rocket turning of the back straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Delbridge, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.

Mr Robin Moore was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for Shake It Off, pursuant to GAR 88.

Ninetymile Wow, Meal Ticket and Fiery Flirt were slow to begin.

Nayeli raced wide entering the home straight.

Mr Harrison Goss was issued with a warning pursuant to GAR 156(f)(ii) for negligence, in that the incorrect Mirotec jacket was placed on Canya Hypersonic.

An out of competition sample was taken from Journey Beyond on 24/10/2023 pursuant to GAR 139.

Millie - Late scratching at 6:17 pm due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr. Donald Jarvis informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr. Donald Jarvis that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.

My Magic Man - Late scratching at 6:26 pm due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mrs. Brooke Ennis was fined $100.

Sponge Kisses (raced awkwardly turning into the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right shin. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Supplementary Report – 22 Dec 2023: The 28 day stand down was removed from Millie after Mr. Donald Jarvis provided Stewards with sufficient evidence of the vehicle breakdown.
