Steward's Report
Smart Cougar, Pure Show and Bo Houdini were slow to begin. Josh Milne and Amaroo Sharpa collided on the first turn checking Amaroo Sharpa. Smart Cougar and Amaroo Sharpa collided approaching the home turn. Other Axle raced wide on the home turn. Josh Milne and Bo Houdini collided in the home straight.
Pure Show was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 11, it was reported that the greyhound sustained a grade 1 muscle injury right hamstrong, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr P Tanti, the trainer of the greyhound Pure Show. Stewards deemed the performance of Pure Show unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Pure Show must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Amaroo Sharpa was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Mr S Coulson, the trainer of the greyhound Amaroo Sharpa declined to have the greyhound Amaroo Sharpa revetted. Stewards deemed the performance of Amaroo Sharpa unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Amaroo Sharpa must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
