Pop Hand was slow to begin. Imry Bale crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Worth Noting and Mickie Gee and severely checking Blistering Sands which fell as a result. My Girl Scarlett and Imry Bale collided on the first turn. Worth Noting and Mickie Gee collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Worth Noting clipped the heels of Mickie Gee approaching the second turn checking Mickie Gee. My Girl Scarlett and Simonova collided on the home turn.
Blistering Sands was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
