Morotai and Dewana Blue Boy were slow to begin. Oomoo, Ultimatum, Silver Spider and Flirtatious collided approaching the first turn checking Instant Bale, Hurricane Harley, Oomoo and Ultimatum. Morotai checked off Ultimatum approaching the first turn. Silver Spider and Flirtatious collided on the first turn checking Flirtatious. Hurricane Harley, Oomoo and Dewana Blue Boy collided on the first turn checking Hurricane Harley, Ultimatum and Dewana Blue Boy and severely checking Oomoo and Morotai; Morotai stumbled and Oomoo fell as a result. Instant Bale and Flirtatious collided approaching the second turn checking Flirtatious.
