Steward's Report
Bonded and She Shy were quick to begin. Why Not Ava stumbled soon after the start and was very slow to begin.
Sleek Design (clipped the heals of Bonded and subsequently fell approaching the winning post) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right gracilis injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
She Shy underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left chest injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Kyle Brooks regarding the racing manners of She Shy at box rise. After hearing submissions from Mr. Brooks, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Major Mistake - the winner of the event.
