Steward's Report
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed ‘Heat Affected’. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 22.9 degrees and the kennel temperature was 16.0 degrees. Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue, as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.
A pre–race urine sample was taken from Valasan.

Patriot Quincey was quick to begin. Vista Why and Aston Crown were quick to begin.
Mrs. Who (checked, faltered and lost ground turning off the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
It was noted that the muzzle of Vista Why became dislodged during the running of the event.
