Steward's Report
Tarneit Flyer, Emotional Lass, Poppy's Raffle and It So Big were slow to begin. Tarneit Flyer and Emotional Lass collided soon after the start checking Tarneit Flyer. Callum's Wish crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Nellie Imlach, Camwell's Cool, Emotional Lass, Poppy's Raffle, Tarneit Flyer and It So Big; Emotional Lass and Poppy's Raffle raced wide as a result. Tarneit Flyer and Emotional Lass collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Camwell's Cool checked off Nuvola on the home turn. Tarneit Flyer checked off Emotional Lass entering the home straight.
It So Big was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left calf muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
