Riverdale Brandy and Classic Spud collided soon after the start. Riverdale Brandy and River Dawn collided approaching the first turn. Riverdale Brandy checked off Classic Spud approaching the first turn. Indi Octane faltered on the first turn and tailed off. Classic Spud checked off Velocette Venom approaching the second turn. Riverdale Brandy checked off Velocette Venom entering the back straight checking Classic Spud.
Indi Octane was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right back muscle, a 28 stand down period was imposed.
