Steward's Report
Joey Mac – Late scratching at 12.14pm when Trainer Mr K. Ward reported the greyhound to have diahrroea (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Quarantined.
Saint Jett and Jimmy Reiko collided approaching the first turn. Deadly Walk checked off Funky Felix approaching the first turn. Deadly Walk checked off Quarantined on the first turn. Saint Jett checked off Deadly Walk approaching the home turn. Blow Me Kisses and Saint Jett collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.
Jimmy Reiko underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Jimmy Reiko with representative Mr K. Coleman and noted their comments.
