All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

My Maximus and That's Life were quick to begin. Cool Whip was slow to begin.

Patty Pie and Cool Whip collided on the first turn.

Patty Pie underwent a post race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Trainer Mr Jason Formosa declined to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr Formosa regarding the greyhound's performance from the first turn. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Patty Pie must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Struck Gold.

Handy Point and Struck Gold were quick to begin.

Handy Point and Struck Gold collided soon after the start. Jumping Jack and Sound The Bugle collided approaching the first turn. Sound The Bugle lost ground on the first turn and tailed off.

Sound The Bugle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left quadriceps and left triangle muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Sound The Bugle – Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Another Vendetta and Misty Rainbow collided entering the home straight. Ching Ching, Another Vendetta and Misty Rainbow raced wide in the home straight.

El Sueno was quick to begin.

Chill Out Webby and Joyous Venture collided on the first turn checking Chill Out Webby. Attitude raced wide in the home straight.

Just Gab and Aunt Finnie were quick to begin. Tinker Yvonne was slow to begin.

Aston Roxy checked off Jayville Menace approaching the first turn checking Urana Fernando. Aunt Finnie checked off Just Gab on the first turn. Urana Fernando checked off Aston Roxy on the first turn. Riverdale Tommy, Urana Fernando and Tinker Yvonne collided on the home turn. Riverdale Tommy and Urana Fernando collided entering the home straight. Just Gab checked off Mayfair Fantasy in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to handler Mrs Renee Kenyon, the representative of Mayfair Fantasy as significant betting fluctuations were noted by Stewards. Mrs Kenyon explained that the greyhound has been well supported in previous races, however was unsure where the support was from. Ms Kenyon's comments were noted and a sample was taken for analysis.

Joey Mac – Late scratching at 12.14pm when Trainer Mr K. Ward reported the greyhound to have diahrroea (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Quarantined.

Saint Jett and Jimmy Reiko collided approaching the first turn. Deadly Walk checked off Funky Felix approaching the first turn. Deadly Walk checked off Quarantined on the first turn. Saint Jett checked off Deadly Walk approaching the home turn. Blow Me Kisses and Saint Jett collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Jimmy Reiko underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Jimmy Reiko with representative Mr K. Coleman and noted their comments.

A pre-race sample was taken from Ellie Bliss.

Smoking Sophie was quick to begin. Ellie Bliss and Zipping Dudley were slow to begin. 

Smoking Sophie, Together We Can and Echo Chamber collided approaching the first turn severely checking Smoking Sophie in turn checking Echo Chamber; Smoking Sophie lost ground as a result. Together We Can and Ellie Bliss collided approaching the home turn.

Smoking Sophie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right carpal wrist sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to handler Mr Dylan Sharp, the representative of Rule The Galaxy as some significant betting fluctuations were noted by Stewards. Mr Sharp explained that the kennel were expecting a forward showing in this event, however was unsure if connections had supported the greyhound. Mr Sharp's comments were noted and a sample was taken for analysis.

King Chad was quick to begin. Moo Star was slow to begin.

Nancy Baker checked off Rubina Bale soon after the start. Oh Yeah Alright checked off King Chad approaching the first turn. King Chad and Whiz Out collided on the home turn. Moo Star checked off Rubina Bale entering the home straight.

Representative, Mr D. Sharp failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare There's My Spot for racing. A fine of $100 was issued pursuant to GAR 46(2).

Parasite and Crown Ella were quick to begin. Raw Attitude was slow to begin.

Parasite checked off Crown Ella soon after the start. Parasite, Raw Attitude, My Dilemma, Golden Avatar, Just The Marjen and Aston Shadow collided approaching the first turn severely checking Golden Avatar. Raw Attitude, Parasite and Just The Marjen collided on the first turn severely checking Just The Marjen which lost ground as a result. Parasite checked off Aston Shadow on the home turn. Aston Shadow checked off Raw Attitude entering the home straight.

Stewards noted the muzzle of My Dilemma became dislodged during the running of the event.

Just The Marjen underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

A pre-race sample was taken from Josie's Call.

Katie's Cortis was quick to begin. Zipping Slade was slow to begin.

Josie's Call and Wild Harmony collided soon after the start. Big Bash Jess, Josie's Call and Wild Harmony collided soon after the start. Josie's Call checked off Wild Harmony approaching the first turn severely checking Big Bash Jess in turn checking Zipping Slade, causing Big Bash Jess to lose ground. Lady Baba checked off Katie Cortis on the home turn. Josie's Call and Wild Harmony collided approaching the winning post.
