A pre-race sample was taken from Just Gab.
Just Gab and Aunt Finnie were quick to begin. Tinker Yvonne was slow to begin.
Aston Roxy checked off Jayville Menace approaching the first turn checking Urana Fernando. Aunt Finnie checked off Just Gab on the first turn. Urana Fernando checked off Aston Roxy on the first turn. Riverdale Tommy, Urana Fernando and Tinker Yvonne collided on the home turn. Riverdale Tommy and Urana Fernando collided entering the home straight. Just Gab checked off Mayfair Fantasy in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to handler Mrs Renee Kenyon, the representative of Mayfair Fantasy as significant betting fluctuations were noted by Stewards. Mrs Kenyon explained that the greyhound has been well supported in previous races, however was unsure where the support was from. Ms Kenyon's comments were noted and a sample was taken for analysis.
