A pre-race sample was taken from My Maximus.
My Maximus and That's Life were quick to begin. Cool Whip was slow to begin.
Patty Pie and Cool Whip collided on the first turn.
Patty Pie underwent a post race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Trainer Mr Jason Formosa declined to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr Formosa regarding the greyhound's performance from the first turn. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Patty Pie must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
